Abaddon the Despoiler

At last... This huge project has come to an end. I'm not sure if I can take good pictures of this giant mini - in real life it is very impressive! I have shot some photos at different locations, and can't find out if they're any good or which are the least crappy.

This guy stands 25 cm without his base!! I have never painted anything like it - I can assure you about that!

This model from Forgeworld has been great fun to paint - although it has taken a looong time. The colourscheme was prety much decided for when I was called for - it had to look like the original artwork from GW.. I took the liberty to make the sword (the absolutely worst part of this otherwise great sculpt!) metal instead of bright blue, and the skulls on his armour silver instead of gold - all in all some ok changes, if I may say so.

Look at the size of that fella!!... The crow from Rackham has been added to give an impression of the size

I tried to use the same 'grid'like way to paint the space marines as I used on 'Powerarmoured Libby'... I think it looks good here as well
