Here you can follow my adventure into the unknown. The painting of a real 40k miniature:
Today i have bought the 40k miniature I'm going to paint, and what is more '40k' than spacemarines?! Therefore my choice was....[lots of drums and trumpets].... The brand new Marneus Calgar!!!
I
must say that it was a little scary unpacking the far to many bits he consists
of :(
On the picture you can see the GW-version of the model and the many bits - 10 in total(!)
I haven't decided the colourscheme, but it will probably be bone, silver and gold :) - my favorites, hehe.
The bits are very detailed, and I'm considering actually painting them separately, before assembling the model. Unheard of!
Part II

This is as far as I have made it. I'm still in chock over the amount of details :)
I do however think the bony white goes ok with the model so far. It is not done yet, I'm still considering doing some glazing and more highlights. This is a model that is gonna take a looong time finishing...
To be continued....
