Future projects....

My next big project. My human blood bowl-team for the local league. I have announced that I will play with unpainted models, and gradually add painted models to the team. I dread it will take a long time for me to finish it :(

The model pictured is one of the rather bulky ogres. I'm not a big fan of the sculpt, but will nonetheless try to make something decent out of it. Interesting to see if I succede.

4 down! - 9 to go...

After painting dozens of lizards, I need to do something that does not look like a lizard. I have started painting the new troll from hasslefree. ithink it's a really cool model - completely naked, with genitials and all... quite funny :) So there will be nothing but skin... I'm looking forward to give it a shot. I have seen pictures of it with a bluetoned skin - I'll go for the classic 'Bestial brown'/'Elf flesh' combo...

Here you can see it in a so called wip-photo (work-in-progress). I think it will be quite nice when finished. Im not sure wheter it will look it a little boring with just skin... maybe I should do some tatooes on it.. But honestly, I usually think that sort of things are a little to much.. Oh well... i'll think some  more about it..

My next project will be a lizard team for Blood Bowl for a customer (the picture is from the GW online catalogue, where you by the way can see some of my models as well - I have painted some of the eldar harlequins!). Although I didnt had it my way, when the colourscheme was decided, I'm looking forward to start painting them :) It's quite a team... 20 players in total, including a kroxigor (the ugly new one from Warhammer with a slight conversion) and 3 human players... I didnt know they could be in a lizardteam... must be houserules :) The skinks are going to be green with red armour and orange crest (the thing on its head...), the saurus blue/green and the kroxigor blue.. the humans are going to have some of these colours as well, so they will look like a team. I must say I would have preferred a more uniform look, but I'll give this colourscheme a chance! :)

Well... at this very moment I'm working on a bretonian pegasus knight. So far I think it looks cool. I have used the same colourscheme I used on the red bretonian questing knight.

I have tried to make a more detailed base for it. I dont know if you can see it proberly on this photo, but it's supposed to be flying over some tombstones with skeletons coming alive...

It isn't finished yet... there still some heraldy to be done...Think i'll go for the classic Fleur-de-lys.

And of course it will need a rider too...

The next thing could be one of the new miniatures from the little company 'Hasslefree'. Inge Mygind Jensen (aka Jenova) has asked me to paint a model for them... and I wouldn't miss the opportunity to paint such a lovely model :) I'm really looking forward to have a go at it, although I know that wings like these can be quite time-consuming... oh well..maybe this time it will be different :)

She might blend in well in my upcoming darkelf army as a harpy (if she is 28 mm scale...which I actually don't know anything about.. but I really hope she is).. but I haven't decided the colourscheme for her yet...

She should arrive by mail any day now...
