Another great Warhammer tournament!! I'm home again after playing no less than 7 games of Warhammer this weekend. This year you should  bring not one but three (3!) armies! A 500 point scouting force and a 1500 point main force. Together these two armies formed your grand force. Two games were fought using the scoting force (these games each consisted of 2 different scenarios), in two games the main foce should be used, and in three games the whole grand force was to be used.

I had a great time - I especially enjoyed the small 500 point games. They tend to be more intense, as every diceroll really can make the difference.

I fielded my good old empire-army once again. And for the fith time it was nominated for best painted :) It didn't win though. My personal favorite didn't win either... A slanesh beastman-army took the prize... Oh well... It really is hard to predict what people prefer...

Among 120 armies I finished 16'th! That is quite ok, I think :) I could have done even better if I had been a little more into 'Storm of chaos', which was the subject of the quiz... I only scored 1 out of 8 there... I thought I had done better - my guesses seemed qualified at the time... but unfortunately they weren't :(

I played two games against slanesh armies (- damn, they are hard to beat!) One match againt another empire... always a little boring meeting 'your own' army (i even lost that one.. sigh). One game against high elves, one against lizardmen, one against skaven and one against vampire cunts. All in all i won 4, lost 2 and got one draw. All my games were quite allright, although I was extremely unlucky against the slanesh army (which always is a little frustrating)...

Apart from playing an insane amount of Warhammer, I got to meet some of the other painters from Denmark. Jakob Nielsen was there, showing some of his new miniatures... absolutely great stuff! Always interesting to talk with him. I must say that he is in my personal top 3 of miniaturepainters in the world. I also talked with Sonny Bundgaard, who has improved greatly during the last year (saw him last year at GF6) - he really is a serious miniaturepainter on his way up. I'm looking forward to se more miniatures from him :)
