Here are some photos of some of the first models in my future Dark Elf army. I must admit... I painted these almost 2 years ago (you can actually see the dust on the front of the base..hehe) - and the army is still not more than 20 man strong.. 'sigh'. What can I say?!... there has been so many other (non-darkelf) models to paint...

The theme is, as you can see, pink/purple and white. It's the old song. Try and make some dark models bright... And they don't come much darker than darkelves. The main problem, however, is that it takes me very long to paint a darkrider like the one shown :( So the thought of painting 5 or perhaps even 10 of them is almost unbearable. I wish I could just copy/paste them ;)

It has been almost a whole year since I last painted a dark elf - maybe I should paint some when I have finished my other great project - the human blood bowl team... hmm I'll think about it.

This model is supposed to be a cold one knight. Because of the stupidity rule, I'm not sure wheter they are worth the points - but they look cool, and that's why they're in :)

I have taken the torso from a executioner and combined it with the traditional knight-legs - it works fine, I think.

The color and the look of the cold one has become a little more boney than I had intended, but I still think 5 of these will look splendid on the battlefield.
